ElioApprovals
One queue for everything waiting on you — in Elio, in the Pipeline, in chat and by email.
Elio never sends an email, changes your books or spends money on its own unless you have told it to. When an agent needs a decision, the request lands in one queue and the work behind it waits.
Where to find it
- Waiting on you in the main menu.
- Inbox in the Pipeline bar — the same queue, with a count on the tab. Today also shows a reminder when something is waiting.
- The Inbox tab on your phone while you are in the Pipeline.
- Your daily digest email, and the chat channels you have connected (see below).
What lands there

| Agents asking permission | Approve, reject, or approve with your edits. Each one has a paused mission behind it and expires after 48 hours if nobody decides. |
| Email drafts | Read the reply or reminder an agent prepared (for example a payment reminder from Chase payment), then send it or discard it. |
| QuickBooks changes | Check every line of an estimate, invoice, purchase order, bill or payment before it reaches your books. Each change is approved on its own, only by an owner or admin, and expires after 14 days. |
| Work passed between departments | Accept or dismiss a handoff one department suggests to another. |
| Autonomy proposals | Let a department run an operation without asking, once it has earned it — or keep asking. See Departments. |
Approving several at once
The Approve button above the agent requests approves them in one go (it reads not high risk when some are left out). Each one still runs through its own checks. High-risk requests, QuickBooks changes, email drafts, handoffs and proposals are always decided one by one.
From chat channels and email
Every item has a short code. In a connected channel (for example Teams or WhatsApp) send /approvals to list what is waiting, then /approve CODE or /reject CODE. The digest email includes a link that opens the waiting items without signing in; it is valid for 24 hours, and payments (receiving a payment or paying a bill) can only be approved inside Elio.
